Description
Over the next 20 years, it's expected that one trillion (yes, trillion!) dollars will pass from one generation to the next in Canada. With recent changes to the tax system, there's more incentive than ever for people to pass some of that money along to charities. Your charity can and should be considering how it could benefit from this bounty.
Take the mystery out of planned giving and get your organization started today on the path to a successful planned giving program with this great new introductory course. The course is written by Marilyn Kerfoot, one of Canada's leading gift planning experts and gift planning manager at the Vancouver Foundation, Canada's most established community foundation.
The CharityVillage Campus Getting Started in Planned Giving course will take you about 2 hours to complete on your own.
As with all CharityVillage Campus courses, you'll have access along the way to helpful downloadable resources as well as short, optional self-tests to help you make sure that you're retaining what you're learning.
When you've finished the course, you can take an optional final quiz. If you achieve 70% or more on the quiz, you can download a certificate of completion.
