» I get a Runtime error and abnormal program termination in the setup.exe file when trying to install one of the WTxxxx courses from CD.
The setup program runs best when your Windows Locale is set to English (United States) and Language Settings set to Western Europe and United States. If the set up program gives you errors, please go to Control Panel and select the Regional Options icon. In the General tab, change Your locale to "English (United States)" and Language Settings to "Western Europe and United States".
» I am running an IPxxxx course and I downloaded the latest ShockWave Plug-In and am now finding that performance has suffered tremendously. When I run the course in my browser, it takes about 15-20 seconds for that window to repaint.
Uninstall 8.5.1 and go back to 8.5. Both the uninstaller and installer are available at the
Macromedia site.
